Hawzah News Agency- the event is being convened in collaboration with Iran's University of Quran and Hadith, the Muslim Community of Romania, the University of Bucharest, the Secretariat of Scientific Associations of the Islamic Seminary, the Romanian Orthodox Church, and the international organization "Echo of Peace and Excellence”.
The interfaith webinar will feature scholars from the Islamic Seminary of Qom alongside scientific and religious figures from Romania, addressing the theme: "The Responsibility and Contribution of Religious Leaders and Spiritual Thinkers in Promoting Peace and Justice in the Contemporary World."
Speakers include Hojatoleslam Hosseini Kouhsari, International Affairs Deputy of the Islamic Seminaries; Dr. Mozaffari from the Secretariat of Scientific Associations of the Seminary; and Dr. Ahmad Karimi, a faculty member at the University of Quran and Hadith from the Iranian side. Representing Romania will be Mr. Yusuf Murad, Grand Mufti of Romania; Dr. Mihai Pavel, Grand Inspector of the Romanian Orthodox Church; and Dr. Valentin Ilie, a faculty member at the University of Bucharest.
The webinar is scheduled to take place on June 8, 2026.
